Keep It Simple!

{Warning : I might end up writing bulks of personal stuff in this post. It is ofcourse more biased towards recent events. Not in any particular order. I guess 20 should be good enough number to aim for. Lets see}

1) I cried when I bid adieu to my best friends at IIIT. I never realised that I could be so attached to friends.

2) I was on Stratosphere in Las Vegas. Just loveeed it. I took all the rides in there. So, I have been on the top three highest rides in the world. Big Shot, XScream and Insanity. I was soo damn euphoric after that.

3) AT US, ended up cooking some of the tastiest chicken curries I ever had. When my friends also said the same, you must have seen me puff with pride. Now I can cook almost everything .. pasta, dal.. this that.. and this is me, who once said that I would never cook my whole life.

4) My gpa right now is 9.34/10. I dont care a damn abt grades. But still it really feels good to be a 9 pointer.

5) I wrote a paper for CVPR.. did a couple of night outs before the submission n my prof took me for lunch.. Now I just hope it gets accepted.

6) I saw the most beautiful sunrise a coupla days back. Watched fireworks at San Fransisco, got totally sloshed, had a damn good dinner.. watched the sunrise at the beach with friends and then had breakfast at Dennys’. Cudnt have asked for a better start to 2007.

7) Played with snow for the first time at Grand Canyon. Trust me, it feels damn good when u do that with arnd a dozen friends.. playing dodge ball with snow
I always used to watch Mackenna’s Gold and was enthralled by those wonderful mountains and all.. saw them in person and it was damnn good. Grand Canyon is so beautiful.

9) High Five moment.. I won 40 bucks at Black Jack and a couple of soft toys at a Las vegas casino.

10) Low Five moment.. I got totally sloshed at a club in vegas and when a hottie asked me for a dance, I just danced Long story cut short though and seems I danced really good..

11) I got my laptop. I just love it and now I am downloading movies like crazy. Hope I dont get deported thanks to the torrents. My motorazr is another good thing that has happened to me.

12) Daily tea in the afternoons with amyn,priy(t)am, sangeetha here. I really worked my ass off the first quarter. Ofcourse I had tons of fun, but still I worked way more than I did in Hyd. and these were tthose tension relieving fun filled moments I would wait for daily.

13) The best breakfast of my life.. Chutneys. It was soo damn good. My mouth still waters thinking abt that day. me and ranj insomniac wanted to have breakfast at indiranagar and finally ended up at chutneys eating tons of good tasty food.

14) My wing was one of the most amazing things that happened to me. I just had so many wonderful moments, let it be those ‘meaningful’ talks in the corridor or the games we played or those mails me and rama composed.

15) I havent been blogging as much as I want to. But, ever since I stopped writing my personal diary .. these posts have been the only memories that I have apart from the infinite mails in gmail. My whole batch spams and spams, as if we dont have anything else to do ( which is partly true !) . Blogging rocks. UG2k2 rocks.

16) I deleted my orkut account twice. I had arnd 350 friends on both the occasions. Dont ask me reasons.. sometimes I am too whimsical. Am planning on making a comeback or whatever. But my whole batch is always spamming and my friends are all mailing me or chatting with me.. so dont really seee the need for that right now.

17) Night walks.. I soo miss them.

18) Admit to UCSC, visa acceptance, my prof agreeing to advise me, me getting funded are ofcourse really big events that have happened.

19) I kissed Marilyn Monroe.. have a pic with my hand on JLo’s butt.. played basket ball with Shaquille o neal. Well… thanks to Madame Tussads for that. I should post the pics sometime.

20) I graduated. After surviving 4 years of strenous hard work at IIIT, I finally ended up getting my BTech degree.. that too from Prof. Raj Reddy. Okayyy.. kidding abt the strenous part ..

Isnt life all about moments that take our breath away? I cud write 20 non-stop in one go. Well I guess there are more if I start thinking.. Well, all in all.. 2006 has been an eventful year for lucky me. I have almost got everything I wanted.. Touch wood.
